Motorweek ignores basic safety, loves to take a rut in a 1982 Brat.

Ah, the 80's. A careful examination of trends indicates a continuing miming of John Travolta (early) from disco to electric cowboy. See also cocaine .

Anyway, best I can say is that they considered it a truck, and held it to that standard. No, this isn't Dateline NBC exclusives, this is Motorweek.

I'd say it gets sideways less than a Corvette, but I don't own a Corvette. But I have been sideways. It just goes. As they even say in the friggin' review. "a quirky steering that takes some getting used to before taking on that semi. ". Yup.

!!! UNKNOWN HEADER TYPE (MULTI-LINE BREAK?) !!!

to get to clients where even the revenuers fear to tread."

Cannot top that.

Let's just say this example has every frigging accessory kit they had. And none of them.

Oh, I didn't notice, Motorweek. The stripe kit fooled me.

The vintage owners would love to get hold of that awesome cowboy-hat clearance rollbar. And that stripe kit. And the roo bar. And 15" wheels from Australia.. Heck, 14"s would do.

Safety?

Um, yeah, that. well, I don't ride back there. But I may set up a single racing seat and harness in the center, where cowboy hats are least likely to be damaged.

Measuring out the 2-brat-length stop from 30. The rear disc brakes from an XT will bolt right on and will add to the spin if a proper brake balancing is not done.

Mostly this review of a review gives me the opportunity to make weird gifs.

Adequate, Handling is better than most pickups. This is 1982.

$9,400 msrp. $15,547 adjusted for inflation.

I'd love to own a Brat. Too bad they've all rusted apart and returned to the earth. Hell, I'd settle for a Baja even.

Yes, but not all of them. Have completed the process, that is. No, they're out there, for instance, the PO's garage, where his perfect one was sitting safe from the elements.

I'll admit mine needs an extensive session with spare metal and welding and banging.
